Cherokee Hill's Madison

Madison is a very correct alpaca with stature and presence. She is a rich mahogany brown with black points and white socks and face markings. Madie’s fleece has one of the nicest handles on my ranch. It is super soft with with a small amplitude crimp. She has a sweet, calm personality and would be an excellent alpaca for a new ranch, plus she has had two unassisted births. She is a very patient mother and has plenty of milk for her crias.
She is passing on her fine fleece, conformation, and color to her crias. They are both solid colors with no markings, and have shown nice crimp from day one. Her latest cria, Chas, was born on December 24th. His sire is award winning Cimarron Rio Blanco, a Felix and Hemingway grandson. Chas is looking like a possible herdsire candidate even at this early age.
Madison is bred to Kanaka, the multiple award winng sire from Fossil Ridge Alpacas.
Madison is sired by Conan The Great (black) who has won a number of 1st and Second place prizes in both fleece and halter competitions. He can be seen at Cherokee Hills Alpacas website on Alpacanation
